Early Life

Lenny and Tema Schrage welcomed Halson Sage into the world on May 10, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, where he was raised in a Jewish home. Max and Kate are her two younger siblings. When Sage was only 14 years old, she had already made a name for herself in the modeling industry.

She succeeded in school-sponsored equestrian competitions while simultaneously serving as editor of the school newspaper. Even as a young kid, Sage enjoyed performing and often appeared in school productions. She also published short fiction. She made the decision to become a professional actress while still in high school and began looking for roles.

Halson Sage initially gained notoriety when she was given the role of Grace King in the Nickelodeon television program “How to Rock.” She appeared in 25 episodes in 2012 since she was one of the major characters. The program was a commercial success and lasted for just one season.

Her other 2012 roles included Briana in the adolescent drama film “The First Time,” Sadie in the TV drama “Victorious,” and a cameo appearance in “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures.” Additionally, she participated as a panelist in four episodes of the kid’s game program “Figure It Out.”

Halston played Amanda in the Sofia Coppola-directed movie “The Bling Ring” from 2013 opposite Emma Watson. Despite having a little part, the movie’s stellar ensemble made sure it got plenty of media attention. She co-starred with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in the movie “Grown Ups 2” as well.

Halston appeared in the 2014 movies “Poker Night” and “Neighbors,” in which she co-starred with ZacEfron and Seth Rogen. She and Rose Bryne were both nominated for the MTV Movie Award for “Neighbors”‘ greatest kiss.

2014 saw Sage cast as Amber Fitch, the main character in the American drama series “Crisis.” She received praise from critics for the transient thriller NCB program. Along with others, she appeared in films with Dermot Mulroney, Lance Gross, Rachael Taylor, and Joshua Erenberg.

In the 2015 movie adaption of “Paper Towns,” Sage portrayed Lacey Pemberton, the female protagonist’s closest friend. Cara Delevigne and Nat Wolff appeared in the Jake Schreier-helmed film. The movie was a hit with audiences and critics alike.

She also acted with Jack Black in the 2015 film “Goosebumps” one of her previous appearances. In “Scout’s Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse,” she portrayed Kendall. She gained a greater reputation and notoriety since both of the films were produced by major studios. She also appeared in the Zac Brown Band’s music video for the song “Loving You Easy.”

In 2016, she started filming for the science fiction show “The Orville.” AlaraKitan was a recurrent character performed by Sage. Sage played Lieutenant AlaraKitan, the youthful head of security on Orville, who was created by Seth MacFarlane. Despite the fact that the program was widely watched but not well received by critics, a second season was ordered. She was cast to portray Lindsay Edgecomb alongside ZoeyDeutch in the 2017 film “Before I Fall.” In the same year, she appeared as Tasha in the tragic comedy “People You May Know.”

Sage was chosen to play the title character in the Netflix movie “You Get Me.” The film, which was directed by Brent Bonacorso and shown at the LA Film Festival in June 2017, also starred Bella Thorne and Taylor John Smith. She is now putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming movie, “The Last Summer.” Tyler Posey, Maia Mitchell, Jacob Latimore, and KJ Apa are among the performers who appear in William Bindley’s romantic comedy.
