Nithiin started his acting career as a lead actor in the Tollywood Industry with the movie named Jayam released in the year 2002. This movie was a tremendous success and he acquired lots and lots of appreciation for his acting performance in this movie and he also earned a Film Fare award for his acting performance in this movie.
He then appeared as a lead actor in many Telugu movies including Sambaram, Dil, Allari Bullodu, Takkari, Aatadista, Drona, Rechipo, Seetharamula Kalyanam, Ishq, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, Heart Attack, Courier Boy Kalyan, Srinivasa Kalyanam, Bheeshma, and Macherla Niyojakavargam.
